Below you'll find answers to the questions we get asked the most about not only during your boiler installation but through the entire process.

Do I need to pay a deposit for my boiler installation?

Not at all. We don't require any deposits or downpayments from you. Payment is only due when we finish the work and you're happy, and that's the way we think it should be!

 

Can I pay for my installation via Credit Card?

Of course, we accept most methods of payment including credit cards. We can confirm this with you before we commence any work.

 

What do I need to do before the installation?

Don’t worry, all you need to do is provide access to the property and make sure any areas where we'll be working are clear.  If there’s anything specific we need from you in advance, we’ll confirm that with you before we even start the installation.

 

Will I need to stay at home all day?

Not at all. As long as someone is there to let us in on the morning of the installation and you have a spare key you can just leave our team to carry on with the work!

 

How long will it take?

Typically a boiler replacement will take just one day . A boiler conversion, where we'd be getting your old boiler converted to a combi system will generally take two days.

 

Will I still have heat and hot water?

The vast majority of our installations are completed in one day, however, if the installation is going to take more than one day, ie. a boiler conversion, you may be without heating and hot water overnight. If you have any vunerable residents such as the elderly or children who may require heating, please make us aware of this as we will always try our best to accomodate such as providing you with electric heaters for the night.

 

What about gas, electric and cold water?

We’ll usually be able to isolate the gas, electric and cold water supply in the areas where we are working so the gas, electric and cold running water shouldn’t be disrupted at all. We will always let you know before we start what will be disrupted by our work.

 

Will you need access to anywhere else?

We will need access to your utility meters are and the mains water stopcock. Our engineers usually are able to locate this themselves so don't worry if you're unsure where these are.

 

Will you take away my old boiler and any rubbish from the job?

Absolutely. Your old boiler and any rubbish will be removed by us and safely disposed of. No matter how big or small!

 

Will the engineer show me how to use my new system?

Of course! Before we go we’ll show you how to use your new system including how to set the timer and answer any questions -it's not a problem if you forget, you can always give us a call, we have an excellent after care service.

 

Do you offer any servicing or cover contracts?

We offer an aftercare package which includes your annual boiler service as well as boiler cover for as little as just £5.39 for our exisiting customers!

 

Do you have insurance?

Yes we public liability insurance, so you can rest assured you and your property are adequately covered during the works.
